BACHELORETTE

I know I said I was busy with my last post but HOLY GUACAMOLE, it's just getting more intense - but good obviously :) I thought I would share a little bit of my Bachelorette and some things I've learned along the way. Outfit details are below. I absolutely LOVED my skirt I got from Target when it was closing here in Canada. It was so comfy and really fun to wear. Take a look below for the rest of my fab weekend wear ;)

I asked my girls to plan something and for me to know
absolutely nothing. I've never been surprised before so I thought it would be really fun! It's crazy to not have any idea of what your doing for a whole day and night. I am such a planner myself (my sister calls me "Stephanie Planner"), haha so taking a backseat was out of my element. When planning somebody's bachelorette, you want to keep in mind what makes them happy and what would they enjoy the most - because obviously its all about them! And thats exactly what happened with mine. We started off with yoga in Trinity Bellwoods Park, where my best friend Miranda surprised me to teach the class! It was one of the best parts of the day! After we went for brunch on the rooftop patio of The Drake Hotel where I ate one of the best french toasts ever. Then we went over to the hotel we were staying at, the  Thompson Hotel - so thoughtful that they wanted me to spend my last night as a Thompson at the Thompson Hotel! If none of you have ever been there, when you come to Toronto or even live in Toronto - GO GO GO, you will NOT be disappointed! They have a rooftop bar with a pool and a view that anybody would drool over. It was so much fun! We sat up there and played some question games and just relaxed. Next, we went for a fancy Mexican dinner (my fav) at Los Colibris.  After we went out on Queen St and had a couple cocktails. It was really fun!

The best part is that a couple of the girls hadn't ever really hung out before, and I loved that I could bring everyone together. My favourite thing is to bring different people together, and I love people who embrace that and accept it! There was new friendships formed and that to me, was the absolute BEST gift I could ever have!

My older sister lives across the country so both my sisters have planned another night just before the wedding so that we can have a little mini Bach with them - I'm so excited! I have been absolutely spoiled to be around some of the most inspirational women in my life. I can't express the love I have for the women who have watched me grow and helped me shape the person I am today. It's been a long journey to finally find who I am and who I want to be, and with the help and support of those around me, I am excited to explore this next chapter with them by my side. I know you may have had this turning point in your life, or even if you haven't, you can try and prepare for it all you want, but it really will always throw you for a loop and, have change where you didn't expect it. But everything happens for a reason, I believe God has a plan and pushes me to where I am suppose to be going, even if I tend to resist.

Sorry for my blabbering - I cant control it sometimes haha! I am so excited to say that our wedding is 24 days away. I want to thank you for reading all my posts and even though you may not know, it really makes me the happiest when I see all the visitors who stop by. Even if you keep up on all posts or just visiting for the first time - THANK YOU! I am so grateful to have all the love I do. Now, for the next 3 weeks I will be focusing on the one who is the most important, my love, Taylor! Can't wait to share all the fun within the next couple weeks :)

Lots of love,
Steph xx
