Stop Wishing & Start Working




Fitness means something different to everyone, and its always so fun to learn what it means for each person! For me, it means doing my best to feed my body what it needs and to get in the exercise that keeps me feeling good!

 It's a whole new world to me that has opened my eyes to a lot more than just fitting into that Victoria Secret bikini (side note: so upset they ended their line, how can they take that away from us? Anyways, different issue for another issue) I have taken it upon myself to really put my runners to the pavement this year around, and see what I can do if I push myself. I've spoken to a lot of people over the last few months and I've promised so much information around this issue, so here it is!



Now, I have always been on the skinner side but that doesn't mean that I don't need to work out or pay attention to what I am eating. I eat "better" because I like the way it makes me feel. I always feel lighter, more full of energy and less bloated. I felt like I was happy with myself but I wanted to see if I can do a little better.


I started the IdealShape Up Challenge this past March. It was a 12 week program, 6 days a week for about 20-30 mins a day. I told myself that I can do it and I did! I did my progress photos and measurements, which is probably the most important thing because you wouldnt believe how your body loses inches and you don't even notice it. I found that was my #1 thing that drove me the most. My results are coming up!


It's a mixture of strength training, body weight exercises and short dynamic cardio. Also, it is FREE, thats right FREE program thats online and you can do in the comfort of your own home. If you feel like giving it a go, honestly, this is a great program for beginners and to get yourself use to a routine.


I started out working out when I got home from work but they kept pushing on doing it in the morning. There was no way I could wake up before work, work out and get there in time for 8:00 AM. But when I was getting home, by the time I worked out, showered, made dinner, cleaned up it was almost time for bed again! I hated not having any down time with Taylor so I started working out in the morning and made it a priority.


Yes, the first time I was half asleep and didn't know what I was doing, but then I found after keep pushing myself to get up, it really increased my energy throughout the day and could tell my metabolism was kicked into high gear because I was eating all day like crazy!!


I am now onto a new routine with Kayla Itsines. I'm in my 4th week and it's been kicking my butt (in a good way) This program would be something you do after the 12 week challenge as its designed for more of an advanced person with having some training in the past.


Ok now here is what results I got after doing the 12 week program! I am so proud of myself and really excited to see what comes next!!

HOW AMAZING! I cant believe I lost 4 inches off my stomach, gained an inch in my glutes, lost 2 inches on my chest and waist and half an inch on my arms and thighs. I've still have work to do and have goals set, and I'm excited to keep going.


Although, it is the best feeling when my husband comments on how good I look. That is such a rewarding feeling. I've gone down 2 dress sizes and had to buy some new clothes as everything wasn't fitting my anymore, not a bad excuse to go shopping! 

Your body is capable of so much and if you really put your mind to it, you can achieve exactly what you want. I began to look forward to my work outs after looking at my progress, and it helped me with saying no to bad foods all the time and push me to get up and do those workouts each day.

YOU CAN DO IT TOO! Stop wishing for a healthy you and start working. Set a day and get yourself all prepped up, get your meal plans, weights, exercise ball and treat yourself to some new workout outfits, it'll make it something to look forward to putting on all the time!
